Train Trip from Edinburgh to London, June 15

In an impressive display Scottish exhuberance, we sat next to a group of Scots who celebrated the beginning of 9:30 am train trip with a round of beer. They continued to celebrate their trip to London for the Queen's diamond jubilee with beer, whiskey, and wine until we arrived 4.5 hours later in London. In addition to giving us some beers for our backpack, K acquired a new nickname, "Texas."

E: The train trip was kind of fun and kind of not fun. The fun part was the snack bar – where we got gummy bears – and that there was no seat belts. The not so-fun part our neighbors were really loud, and it was hard to concentrate on my book. They were Scots, and they called me lassie.
