Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat

We live across the street from Holyrood Park. It has hiking trails, crags, valleys, and windswept areas. Its most famous feature is a craggy peak called Arthur's Seat (823 feet above the city), an extinct volcano that erupted 325 million years ago.

A:  I liked climbing the mountain even though it was raining. We went all the way up to Arthur’s Seat, which is the highest point in Edinburgh.

S: We were going for a walk but decided we should go climb the mountain Arthur's Seat. It was very fun even though I’m afraid of heights. Once you were close to the summit it was more fun than when you were climbing. I sat on the highest place in all of Edinburgh.

E: It was really fun climbing the mountain, even in the rain. We went down this path that is kinda hard to see. You have to jump down some rocks and stuff.

We Climbed it Again
S: We climbed Arthur’s Seat again, and it was fun. We discovered a new path to go down on. We slid on the wet grass. You run as fast as you can, and then you slide. It is so fun.
E: There weren’t so  many people climbing the mountain tonight. There was fog covering the mountain. When you were on the peak, it looked like you were in a big bubble of fog.
